Our Objectives

To bring researchers throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas and applications in vast field of sensors. To identify the latest innovations in sensors, which highlight the role of sensors in industry 4.0, to serve as an international platform for knowledge and expertise exchange between the experts from the industry and the academia.

Journey of AsiaSense

  • ASIASENSE is a regularly held conference that brings researchers throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas and applications in vast fields of sensors. The conference has grown to become one of the key sensor conferences in Asia since 2003.

  • The previous AsiaSense conferences were held successfully in different Asian countries including Malaysia (2003, 2013), Indonesia (2005, 2015), Philippines (2007, 2018), Thailand (2009) and Korea (2011). AsiaSense is coming back to Malaysia once again with the theme “Sensors Sustain Future” in 2021 via online conference.

Becoming a Member

@ Sensor Society

A member who has paid up the annual membership fees on time is entitled to:

  • A certificate of membership valid from 1 January to 31 December. 
  • Free or up to 50% discount for a member to attend The National Sensor Seminar organized by the society every year. 
  • Apply for a travel grant of RM200 to attend any conference. Five of such grants are available each year on offer to members on a first come first serve basis. 
  • Corporate sponsorship from Rapid Genesis Sdn Bhd of RM2500 on yearly basis for all members having valid Sensor Society Membership to apply for a travel grant to attend any conference. Five of such grants at RM500 maximum each on offer to 5 members on a first come first serve basis.
  • Apart from discount, you may be assigned to be the member of the technical committee in organizing AsiaSense 2021 International Conference (including keynote speaker), establishing and publishing an online peer-reviewed journal, developing Sensor Society website and other similar responsibilities in the upcoming Sensor Society Activities.
